Gemma studied music at Exeter College after leaving school in 2006 and gained a triple distinction National Diploma in music.
Her primary instrument is drums but has gained a grade 5 qualification in Saxophone .
She has performed in various shows including 2 productions with the Big Noise Choir at the Northcott Theatre and 'Oh What A Lovely War' with Exeter College of Performing Arts Students at the Barnfield Theatre.
Her experience playing 'live drums' has been with a local function band called 'Mother Popcorn' building a wealth of experience, then as an accomplished Jazz drummer, as part of a dynamic group of musicians playing weekly Jazz sets in and around Exeter.

Most recently Gemma has been playing and singing with Exeter folk/roots band 'Spin 2', performing all over Devon at functions and festivals including the Branscombe Beer Festival, the Aeon Festival, the Firestone Festival and the Sidmouth Folk Festival to name just a few..
Gemma is the newest member and says, 'I'm very excited to be a member of The Flower Power Band, it will definetely help me blossom as a musician. I love working alongside this lovely group of people with my new 60s wardrobe, yeeeeaaaa baby!
